To arrive & go around...

The most travellers arrive by plane.

The country is relatively well served by the airline companies, as well from the Continent as from the rest of the world.

If you are in bordering countries, you can arrive by terrestrial way. Once in the country, it is easy to make air connections.

There are several companies which connect the various cities of the country.

Here are the principal ones:

  • Star Perú
  • Taca
  • Lan Perú

You can take buses too, but the ways are long and tiring and many companies give a bad quality service.

In the cities, to take a taxi is cheap. But you have to be careful and choose an official one.

The best is to inform yourself on the taxi companies which offer more safety and fixed tarifs.

If you take a taxi in the street, the best is to agree on the tariff before going up (information in the receptions of the hotels).
