In the Andes...
In the heights, the thermal amplitudes are impressive. In winter, which corresponds to the dry season, once the night arrived, the temperature falls in an impressive way, with variations of 35 or 40º C between day and night... if you can have between 25 and 30º C with the sun, at night it is not rare to have temperatures which go until -10ºC... And also, the sun burns and in the shade the weather is fresh or cold.
It is thus necessary to have always within reach what to cover yourself, especially if you think to make a trek, you must envisage everything against cold, but also against sun... sun lotion adapted to your skin and good sunglasses... Above 3000 m, UV are much more malicious than on sea level...
Mind with the sensitive skins!...
