Here once again a beautiful ascension that this one, to the summit of the Chachani, volcano neighbor of the Misti.  This volcano is higher than the last but his ascension is easier than the one of his neighbor of party a firmer land.  The there high view is spectacular, dominating at once the plain where git the city of Arequipa and the high plateaus to his opposed one.

Itinerary

• Arequipa-Campamento base Chachani(4500m)-Campamento Azufrera(5000m)

Departure very early in the morning in 4WD heading for the base camp of the Chachani, that marks also the end of the road, at about 5000m of altitude, Alemán campsite. Possibility to climb to Azufrera campsite(5300m)

Rest, adaptation to the altitude.

• Climbing of the Chachani(6075m)-Arequipa

Begin of the de climbing to the dawns.  Arrived to the summit of the Chachani in morning end.  6075 m...  The view is spectacular!  Next, descent to the base camp and return on Arequipa at the end of the day. 
NOTE: the guide will be empowered to decide pursuit of the ascension according to the climate or the physical conditions of each.
